How do I enter electricity information for a premises?

You have the following information to enter electricity usage information for a premises in CarbonTrail:

Choose this information if you are happy for CarbonTrail to request this information from your electricity provider. This option is only enabled in countries where we have this functionality.

Electricity Meter Number (ICP)

Enter in your meter number to this box. You can find this printed on your bill, or by going to the Electricity Authority website and entering your address.

Electricity Provider

Choose your provider from the dropdown list. You can find this information on your bill or by using the Electricity Authority website quoted above.

You also need to confirm that you consent for us to access this information on your behalf.

For each month, enter the number of kilowatt hours used. You can get this information from your electricity bill. If you don't want to do this, consider allowing us to gather it for you automatically by selecting "Load automatically from my electricity meter".

Select this value if you don't receive a bill for this premises, or if you don't use electricity here.

Note: If you select that you don't measure electricity usage, we may contact you to find out more about the property, to ensure that you have the most accurate carbon estimate possible.
